Infotec, un centro de investigación del Conacyt especializado en Tecnologías de la Información, está convocando a una mesa de trabajo denominada “Municipio 2.0”, la cual tiene como objeto definir la arquitectura tecnológica de lo que debería ser un portal municipal, no sólo como un sitio para trámites gubwernamentales, sino como un facilitador y generador de comunidades dentro de esras entodades.
