La nueva version del navegador acaba de ser lanzado con varias modificacion. Opera 6.3 incluyendo:

  • Added opera:config > UserPrefs > DoubleclicktoCloseTab to close tabs by double-clicking on them
  • Added a thread button in the mail toolbar
  • Manipulating text input contents can allow execution of arbitrary code, as reported by Red XIII. See our advisory.
  • HTML parsing flaw can cause Opera to execute arbitrary code, as reported by Alexios Fakos. See our advisory.

Opera 10 ha salido con muchas mejoras, aunque esta aun en estado alfa tiene un nuevo engine llamado presto asi como compatibilidad con HTML 5 y 100/100 en acid test.

A su vez tiene mejor soporte de SVG asi como display de webfonts. Finalmente Linux tendra mejor soporte para sus muchos widgets.
